Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by AN Head Spa & Wellness, operated by TC Beauty and Wellness Pty Ltd (ABN 48 691 192 006). By booking a treatment, purchasing a product, or using our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. General Information

  • AN Head Spa & Wellness provides non-medical wellness and relaxation services including Japanese Head Spa, massage, facial, and body treatments.

  • All treatments are delivered by therapists trained in their respective areas.

  • Services are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions. For ongoing or serious health issues, please consult a healthcare professional.

2. Bookings & Deposits

  • A $50 deposit is required for all bookings.

  • Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a future appointment if a minimum of 48 hours notice is given.

  • Deposits and appointments are managed through our booking system Kitomba.

  • Deposits are not transferable to another person’s name unless approved by management.

  • Remaining balances are due after the service and can be paid via EFTPOS, cash, or valid gift voucher.

3. Cancellations & Late Arrivals

  • Cancellations or reschedules made less than 48 hours before the appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit or vouchers.

  • Clients who fail to attend an appointment without notice may be required to prepay future bookings in full.

  • Late arrivals may result in a shorter session to avoid impacting subsequent clients. Full fees still apply.

4. Health, Safety & Client Responsibility

  • Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries, pregnancy, or scalp/skin sensitivities prior to treatment.

  • If a condition makes treatment unsuitable or unsafe, therapists may modify or refuse service at their discretion.

  • Clients accept responsibility for notifying the spa of any changes to their health prior to each visit.

  • AN Head Spa & Wellness accepts no liability for any undisclosed condition that may affect the suitability or outcome of a treatment.

5. Professional Scope

Our services are not medical treatments and should not be used as a substitute for medical advice or prescribed care.
If you have a chronic or diagnosed condition (e.g., hair loss, chronic pain, or skin disorders), we recommend consulting a qualified healthcare or dermatology professional before booking.

Results vary between individuals and depend on personal factors such as skin type, hair and scalp condition, and lifestyle.
We do not claim to provide or replace medical, dermatological, or psychological care.

6. Gift Vouchers

  • Valid for 36 months from the date of purchase.

  • Non-refundable and must be presented at the time of booking and redemption.

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash or used in conjunction with other discounts or promotions.

  • Lost or expired vouchers cannot be replaced.

 

For Groupon vouchers, fine print conditions apply as stated on the offer page.

If booking online, please enter “Groupon” in the First Name box and include your Groupon security code so we can verify your voucher. Please also bring the voucher with you to your appointment.

7. Product Sales & Refunds

  • All retail product sales are final unless the product is faulty or not as described.

  • For hygiene reasons, products cannot be returned or exchanged once opened or used.

  • If you experience an adverse reaction, please discontinue use and contact us immediately for assistance.

8. Hair Extensions or Dreadlocks

AN Head Spa & Wellness is not responsible for any damage to hair extensions, dreadlocks, or similar hair applications that may occur during treatments.
Clients with extensions or chemically treated hair are advised to inform their therapist prior to starting their session.

9. Personal Belongings

10. Coloured Hair

If you have coloured hair, please note that the colour may slightly change following scalp treatments or steaming.
We recommend scheduling hair colouring after your Head Spa treatment, not before, to maintain your desired tone and finish.

Clients are responsible for the safety of their personal belongings during their visit.
The spa is not liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen items on the premises.

11. Phone Usage & Considerations

Please turn off or silence mobile phones before entering the spa.
We kindly ask that you speak softly and respect the quiet environment for all clients receiving treatments.

Clients are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and other guests.
Any form of inappropriate, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour will result in immediate termination of service and removal from the premises.

To ensure a serene and relaxing environment for all guests, children under the age of 10 are not permitted in the spa.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a peaceful atmosphere.

12. No-Tolerance Policy for Sexual Harassment & Verbal Abuse

AN Head Spa & Wellness maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of sexual harassment or verbal abuse of staff or clients.
If such behaviour occurs, the treatment will be stopped immediately, and the client will be asked to leave the premises without refund.
We are committed to providing a safe, professional, and respectful environment for all guests and staff members.

13. Liability

While every effort is made to provide a safe and professional environment, AN Head Spa & Wellness and its employees are not liable for:

  • Any allergic reaction, injury, or outcome resulting from undisclosed medical information

  • Hair colour alteration due to treatment

  • Damage to hair extensions, dreadlocks, or chemically treated hair

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

  • Dissatisfaction with results where due care and skill were applied

 

​Refunds may be issued at the discretion of the management and are subject to the circumstances of the request. If a customer is unhappy with the treatment, spa staff must be notified within 10 minutes of the treatment. No refunds will be provided at the end of the treatment.

14. Website Use

All content on this website, including text, imagery, and design, is the property of TC Beauty and Wellness Pty Ltd unless otherwise credited.
Content may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
While we strive for accuracy, AN Head Spa & Wellness does not guarantee that all website information is error-free or current.

15. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Personal information collected through our website or booking system (Kitomba) is used solely for managing appointments, client communication, and marketing (where consented).

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
